Happy Halloween!!!

Carolyn really enjoyed Halloween! She dressed as a frog and loved her costume. She hopped around the living room every time she tried it on. We had a fun week - a Halloween Parade at the nursing home on Monday, a party with the moms' group on Wednesday morning and Trick or Treating . Carolyn was REALLY into trick or treating. We did our whole street (about 15 houses) and she walked right up to each door and held out her bag for candy. It was a lot of fun!

Haircuts!!!

This morning after Carolyn and I delivered meals to a new mom in our Moms' Group, we stopped to get her haircut. A couple weeks ago, I got about 6 inches cut off and this morning Carolyn got over 3 inches cut!! Carolyn did a great job. This is her third haircut, but the only time we had any length cut off (mostly just her bangs before). She sat in the seat with a booster all by herself and patiently waited. The hairdresser was very impressed and Carolyn was happy to get a sticker and lollipop when we were done!

Excuse the poor quality of the first picture!

Fun at The Park

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day here - it was about 70 degrees! Carolyn and I took advantage of that and spent the afternoon at the park!

Enjoy some pictures of her fun!

Carolyn's Pumpkin

Saturday my sister-in-law Sue and I took Carolyn to a little Fall Festival in our neighborhood. They had a pumpkin decorating booth and Carolyn is REALLY into pumpkins this fall, so she decorated a pumpkin. She was very funny, as she put each thing on she would say "there" and then sometimes she would switch the place of two things and say "much better." All his pieces have been falling off since we brought him home, so he's been repaired quite a few times. Everytime I look at the pumpkin, I can't help but smile!

Here we go!

Welcome to our blog! After seeing how many of our friends have blogs, and how much we enjoy them, I've decided to start one here. Hopefully it will be a great way to keep in touch with long distance friends and family and share stories, pictures and video.

Enjoy! :)
