Williamsport Fun!

Carolyn and I got the chance to visit good friends in Williamsport last week. Zach stayed home and used the time to catch up on school work and a few little projects around the house.

We had a wonderful visit and it was so fun to see the kids together again. They fell right back together and Alicia and I got a great break while the kids played, played, played!!

Carolyn and "Gavs" as she calls Gavin!

Williamsport has a great Children's Discovery Area as part of their local Y. The kids had a great time exploring!

Warmer Winter Days....

We enjoyed a few warmer days this week and Carolyn and Mommy were happy to get in some outside playtime!!

This is Carolyn and "Baby Dora." Dora comes most places with us. Carolyn is her mother and takes good care of her. She had to sit in the blue chair and watch while we took a bike ride!

Carolyn gets ready for a bike ride!

Working hard to get up the hill!

Even after 2 days of near 50 temps, we still are left with all this snow!!!!

In other news, we had our 20 week ultrasound on Thursday - we were fooled yet again with a modest baby who refused to share! The baby was actually "folded up" with his/her feet covering the head, so we didn't really even get any pictures worth sharing!

Marble Fun!

Carolyn got this MarbleWorks set at Christmas and it provides HOURS of fun and entertainment for her. It's an especially good Daddy and Carolyn activity as it requires some engineering insight that mommy severely lacks!

Carolyn and Zach built this one so tall that Carolyn needs her stepstool to reach the top!

Zach very proud of his creation....

So tall that Carolyn can't reach the top, even with her stepstool!

In other news, our big 20 week ultrasound is next Thursday, so hopefully we'll get some pictures to share! Carolyn is coming along and hoping to find out that the baby is a brother (although we've told her time and time again that it might be a sister, she is insistent on wanting a brother!)

Happy Birthday Dad!

We celebrated Zach's birthday in January (you can tell I'm a bit behind on the blog...as usual....)

Carolyn and I spent most of the day preparing for Daddy's birthday. She was very excited about the whole thing and had all these ideas for his party (which was the three of us) including games. We wrapped dad's presents, made stromboli for dinner and baked and decorated his cake. She organized and set up some balloon games that she made up in the living room.

Carolyn can now crack and egg all by herself. She did all the eggs for Dad's cake.

The finished product - Carolyn picked to decorate the cake like a crown that said Dad.

The birthday dinner!

Carolyn was really excited for Daddy to open this present from her. It was some cut and folded paper that she made into shapes....

We scrapbooked a calendar for Zach to hang on his wall at work.

The best part of Zach's birthday (to me) was Carolyn's excited little face about EVERYTHING!
