Diane's Project!
In the eating area of our kitchen, we have this very tall and shallow cupboard that at one point had an ironing board in it. The previous owners put in these little shelves, but they were fairly useless since they were so short. So, I decided (with Zach's help) to revamp the cupboard

Memorial Day Weekend
We had a very fun and productive Memorial Day weekend! Zach's parents came up on Friday to visit and help put in a fence! Zach and his dad worked really hard and the fence is almost done! We are very grateful for Pap and Nana and how much they helped us this weekend!!

Table and Chairs
Our table and chairs arrived (on Mother's Day!). Carolyn and I picked out blue cushions to protect the seats and make them comfy. Next we need a tablecloth that is the right size...
We had just finished swim class and lunch, so the table is a bit messy and the chairs are moved around, but you get the idea....

Some Fun!
Last weekend we went to a carnival and Carolyn and one of her little friends really enjoyed the rides! Carolyn is pretty adventurous and loves the rides where you get to drive.
I accidentally left my I-pod out after my run the other morning and this is how I found Carolyn! I turned it on for her and she enjoyed listening to some "mommy music" for a few minutes.
And here is my mistake in telling Carolyn that we would go to the beach this summer. She has her beach shoes on and her bucket and said "Ready to go to beach!"

Cookies and Smiles :)
I made m and m cookies the other day and Carolyn wanted to help. I told her that her job could be the m and m's. I plopped the dough onto the tray and then told her to put m and m's on each cookie. I didn't give any more direction than that and I didn't help her at all. Here's what she did.... it highlights the OCD in her. ;)
And two pictures of our happy girl!
